the process
Once you book, I'll send over a boudoir guide with everything you need to know — location ideas, outfit inspiration, prep tips, & all the details. We'll talk through your vision together so by the time shoot day comes, you feel ready & genuinely excited. No guessing, no anxiety spiral. Just anticipation.
BEFORE YOUR SESSION
Get your hair & makeup done — pampering yourself before the shoot is part of the experience & it shows in the photos. Practice a few poses in the mirror ahead of time (seriously, it helps). Rest up, drink water, skip the alcohol the night before. & bring props if something feels personal to you — a favorite lipstick, sunglasses, something that makes you feel like *you*. We can talk through all of this well in advance.
tips that actually help
Boudoir doesn't have to mean a bedroom in lingerie — unless that's exactly what you want. I love thinking outside the box... a chic studio, a hot spring, wrapped in an oversized shirt with morning light coming through the window. Whatever feels most like you, we'll make it work.
LOCATIONS
I show up as your hype person, your director, & your safe space all at once. We typically start with more coverage & ease into it — there's no pressure to do anything that doesn't feel right. I focus on natural, authentic beauty & there's no heavy body editing here. I want you to see yourself, not a version of yourself. By the end you'll feel things you didn't expect to feel. That part never gets old for me.

Your gallery arrives with every beautiful image from your session — edited, delivered, & ready to download. I'll share sneak peeks along the way because waiting is hard & you deserve to see them.

1 outfit. A great starting point if you're not sure what to expect.
1 hour photo session

2 outfits & enough time to really settle in, loosen up, & get the shots that make you stop scrolling. Most clients find this is where the magic happens — the first outfit is warmup, the second is where you really find it.

I don't do heavy body editing — & that's intentional. These photos are meant to show you as you are, because that's the whole point. I'll retouch things like temporary blemishes, but the rest? That's you & it's beautiful.
Do you edit out stretch marks, cellulite, etc.?
Whatever makes you feel good. Lingerie is classic but it's not required — an oversized shirt, a cozy robe, a sheet, a bodysuit, or something that just feels like you. I'll send a full guide after you book with outfit ideas & inspiration to help you figure it out.
What do I wear?
That's actually the most common thing I hear. Most of my clients have never done a boudoir session before & that is completely fine. I'll guide you through every moment — you don't need to know how to pose or what to do. That's my job.
I've never done anything like this. Is that okay?

Where do sessions take place?
Lots of options — a studio, your home, a hotel, a hot spring, outdoors. Boudoir doesn't have to look one specific way & I love getting creative with locations. We'll figure out what feels right for you during the planning process.
Is this just for women?
Not at all. Boudoir is for anyone who wants to feel powerful & seen — regardless of gender. Couples sessions are also available & genuinely one of my favorite things to shoot.
