the process
It's incredibly important to me that we actually connect. My couples are intentional, full of life, & know what they want — & I believe the best photos happen when we truly get each other. If you're reading this & something is saying "yes, this is it" then we're already on the right track. I love to hop on calls or video meetings to make sure we vibe & then continue that relationship throughout the process.
CONNECTION
Once you're ready, let's lock it in. After choosing your package, I'll send over an online proposal with a custom contract, invoice, & payment schedule. Once your 25% retainer is paid & the contract is signed, your date is secured & the fun begins.

Engagement sessions are a huge part of the experience. It's a chance for us to get to know each other & capture you two in a relaxed, no-pressure environment before the big day. Already had engagement photos or not feeling it? No worries! I offer a "value hour" with every wedding package so that you can add on time to your big day, or choose a "day after" session if you've already done your engagement photos.
ADDING VALUE
I'm genuinely here to help with planning — all of it. From venue recommendations to vendor referrals to timeline building, I've got you. And if you want to go deeper on the wedding planning side of things, my podcast *When in White* is basically a free resource for exactly that. Consider me in your corner from the moment you book.
PLANNING
After the big day, I'll deliver an online gallery packed with beautiful images — roughly 60 photos per hour of coverage. You'll have access within 4 - 8 weeks (often sooner!) & then you can download, share, & print directly from the gallery. If you added video, your video arrives edited & ready to relive within 8-12 weeks.. Grab a bottle of wine... & enjoy every single moment.

Absolutely. I'm based in the Reno/Lake Tahoe area & travel regularly — including to the Bay Area, Hawaii, & beyond. Travel fees vary by location, so just mention where you're getting married & we'll talk through the details.
will you travel for my wedding?
Roughly 60 photos per hour of coverage — & I deliver every good image from your day. I only cut repeats & technical failures. Your day deserves to be fully documented, not curated down to a highlight reel.
How many photos will we receive?
Yes — & it's one of my favorite things to offer. I shoot photo & film together, so your day is covered cohesively without two separate teams. Many of my couples add film to their package & it completely changes how they experience their wedding.

Can i pick a song for my video?
You’re welcome to choose the overall genre or vibe for your video. I license all music properly so your content can be used legally across platforms, which means I’m limited to songs available within my licensing library.
If you have a specific song in mind, I’m happy to look into whether it can be licensed and what the associated fee would be. If it’s available, we can absolutely add that licensing cost to your package.
How far in advance should we book?
Most couples book 6 - 12 months out, especially for peak summer & fall Tahoe dates. If your date is sooner, reach out anyway — I'll always let you know if I'm available.
What's your style?
Candid, cinematic, & emotional. I'm not here to put you in a pose & call it a day. I want your photos to feel like a moment you actually lived — light, real, & full of the things that made your day yours.
Do you work with non-traditional or custom weddings?
Always. Some of my most memorable weddings have been the ones that broke every rule. I love working with couples who have a specific vision & need someone who can execute it — whatever that looks like for you two.
